And then started the crying....for mama and Mia.
After about an hour of crying and outright screaming, Mia finally took the doctored up American formula.
And all was right with the world.
And yes, she really is 22 pounds. Every single fat roll counts. Look at those thighs!
She has so much personality.
Mama and Mia love the Ergo carrier.
After a short nap, Mia's vivacious personality shined.
She coos, she babbles, she grins, she laughs.
She seems to be a very happy girl.

Just to let you know how this joyous day has created a ripple throughout the country...I had to share your story with my manager, who lives in Roanoke, VA. He and his wife adopted their 2nd child, who's now 7, from China. When I told him today was your "Gotcha Day" and described the photos, he actually said he got chills hearing it and remembering their time in China with their new daughter. It's just amazing how many people are sharing in your joy today, Krista. May you continue to hold these memories in your heart forever.
