Piggie Tails

It snowed last night. Not much. But it iced over making the roads not so great.
So Mia and I decided to stay in today. Just hanging out.
I decided to experiment with her hair. Since it's getting longer and more unruly by the day.
It took bribery with Cheez-its to get her to hold halfway still.
But in the end...we got her first piggie tails.
And this is what I got when I cut off the Cheeze-its.
We spent the rest of the afternoon playing.
Or pulling out every toy
until my living room looked like a tornado had blown through.
Which I think is Mia's definition of playing.
I know that face looks so sweet and innocent... she's not.
I look at these photos and compare them to the video below.
And I'm still shocked at the changes in her.
Her hair is so much longer.
She's grown up so much.
She's tall enough now to reach the top of the dining room table.
She's hard to photograph.
Because she's always on the go.
Constantly moving, moving, moving.
It's rare that she's sitting still.
Which is why most of my photos turn out like this.

A fuzzy blur of arms and legs.

You're such a lucky mama. So much growth so far, so much more growing to do, and you get to witness and share in it all. Glad you only got a little snow/ice. We got hammered for four days. Ugh.

Love those pictures. She's still just darling as ever. The picture of her giving you the evil eye really cracked me up. We get the head throw back with Mei Mei's crying and evil eye. Our house too looks like a hurricane just ripped through and I would not have any other way. Thanks for posting. Love keeping up with all of you two's antics.

Love the pigtails. She looks so grown up! And I laughed out loud at the open-mouth-yelling, arms-crossed-across-her-chest photo. This is a little girl who won't be afraid to tell anyone what she thinks! Good for her!

Piggie tails are the best! And our little Squirt is go-go-go, too. I can't seem to manage a decent picture either. Maybe that's because I fail to pull out my camera half the time, though. Heh.
